Systech has engineered and supplied many systems since 1985. The following are a few examples of our projects:

CHEMICAL INDUSTRY:

A chemical plant located in Pennsylvania manufacturers resins, which are sold to adhesives companies for industrial and automotive adhesive applications. They had oil mist and sticky solid particulate emissions from a resin production process. An APC Model UHF filter system was installed at approximately 15,000 ACFM. Efficiency of the UHF was excellent, filter usage rate was low, and the emissions are completely nasty, with both a liquid and solid component, all being very sticky. The UHF system replaced a venturi scrubber, which had very low control efficiency, left a mess causing process downtime.

MANUFACTURING:

Both excessive dust and noise levels were an issue at an office partition manufacturer in western Ohio. An insulation board machining station generated both dust particles and sound levels that exceeded the established safety limits for the operators. A properly designed and installed Dust Collection System (yellow duct) and Noise Barrier System (quilted barrier curtains) reduced the particulate and sound levels well below the OSHA requirements.

MODULAR HOME INDUSTRY:

A major modular home manufacturer required capture of dusts generated by circular saws, routers and wand sanders during the assembly of drywall into walls and ceilings.  A Systech central vacuum system with twenty-four (24) strategically located "pick up" points eliminated the excessive airborne particulate levels within the production area.

PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY:

A manufacturing facility in Puerto Rico was required to reduce emissions from their exhaust stacks due to odor and particulate levels from a fermentation process used in the manufacture of antibiotics. A Duall Model PT-510 FRP wet scrubber system brought critical levels within regulatory compliance.
