United States Coast Guard and U.S. Maritime guidelines indicate specific construction details for marine duty fans. Hartzell marine duty fans are all heavy-duty designs to meet or exceed these guidelines with versatility for military vessels, cruise ships, tugs, and oil platforms. To meet space constraints and application requirements Hartzell offers a complete line of fans and blowers including marine duct axial blowers, marine tubeaxial fans, marine duty duct fans, marine vaneaxial blowers, marine centrifugal blower, and standard NAVY fans. Should the ventilation application be in the engine room, cabins, or cargo hold a Hartzell marine duty fan design will meet your project requirement.
Axial fans and blowers are specifically designed to mount in any position. All motors are fully enclosed and can come with relubricating bearings. All motors are USCG approved and are certified to meet IEEE 45 recommendations. Hartzell Fans come with materials for your specific application whether it be aluminum, steel, stainless, or fiberglass. Additionally, motors can be made to your specifications, for example, high temperature, explosion-proof, or modular construction. Perfect for cargo hold ventilation, exhaust or supply, and many more applications. For engine room air supply, units are available above or below deck. Features watertight conduit boxes on the exterior of the fan. Standard motors are 50°C ambient below deck as standard.
