About Us

“Celebrating years of resolving industrial air quality, noise, dust explosion, and ventilation issues.”

SysTech was founded in 1985 with a commitment to providing practical, cost-effective answers to today’s industrial air handling, cleaning, and moving challenges. We offer single-source solutions by combining individual components with system installation for: Industrial Ventilation, Air Quality Control Systems, Noise Attenuation, Vacuum Conveying, Fan Applications, Explosion Protection, Dust Collection, and much more!

SysTech is a second-generation family-owned company and maintains continuity to its adherence to cost-effective ventilation issue resolutions, timely service, support, and understanding of the importance of valued clients. Retaining old-school methods with up-to-date business acumen best communicates the service expected from our long-time clients and new business relationships.

It takes a team approach to handle complex industrial ventilation issues successfully. At SysTech, we bring together in-house professionals and, as necessary, outside specialty consultants to address important ventilation issues. This allows us to provide the most cost-effective and compliant solution to a client’s ventilation, noise mitigation, or explosion protection issues.

SysTech selects and installs dust collectors for ventilation projects that require 100 CFM to those exceeding 100,000 CFM. Projects might be for product recovery, nuisance dust control, health issue particulate removal, or handling combustible dust.
The accompanying photo is of a recent small but significant zirconium dust collection project where a 500 CFM Donaldson Torit DFO 3-3 cartridge dust collector was applied for product recovery. The unit included an abrasion-resistant inlet, a 25-gallon collection drum, a 5 HP fan, and a VFD control panel.

During summer, clients usually exhaust heated air accumulating in the upper rafters and high ceilings with a bank of rooftop exhaust fans. During this period, fans are inspected, and the maintenance guys fix issues that need addressing. If not serviced regularly, the rooftop fans go down, and ventilation systems are compromised. It gets hot!

Unfortunately, most roof-mounted fans follow the “out of sight, out of mind” idiom. Unless a fan shuts down, going onto the roof is inconvenient, and servicing fans by disassembly them is often avoided as long as possible.

Installing heavy-duty long-life fans is the first step to extend the interval for hot weather rooftop repairs. And suppose your exhausted airstream is contaminated with particulate that builds up on the fan wheels (which subsequently go out of balance). In that case, the second step is reducing the required time when fan service is necessary.

Should either of these maintenance scenarios ring a bell, consider the Hartzell Air Movement “Swing-out Design” for roof exhausters. These fans are heavy-duty and easily serviced when you need to go up on the roof. The complete drive and fan wheel assemble unlatches from the housing, swings out, and the fan internals are readily serviced and cleaned.
