Prostar PRS-100 Plasma Table with Industrial Ventilation
Industrial ventilation application for source capture of smoke and fumes from a small plasma cutting table. Air cleaning and filtration were accomplished with a Donaldson Torit Model DFE 2-4 dust collector that collected the smoke and fumes from the Prostar PRS-100 plasma table. The dust collector is capable (depending on the dust) of 4,000 CFM, while the table is rated for 1,800 CFM, allowing room for expansion.

In addition to the dust collector, the exhaust/air filtration system includes quick clamp ductwork, zipper duct for the plasma table, side-mounted Cincinnati cast aluminum pressure blower (PB) exhaust fan, HEPA after filter, and a 10 HP Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with airflow controller control panel.
